Few things about February
History of February is quite interesting. The root word of our February is “febura”. Literally it means purification or the act of cleansing. The Anglo Saxons used to call it as “Sol monath” which means a month of cake. 400 years the name of modern feb is “Feverell”. 100 years later it was called as “Februeer”. The name February came into existence only about 100 years ago.
